Filip focuses on commercial and employment dispute resolution, representing businesses and employers in complex contentious matters across Slovakia. His practice centers on navigating high-stakes disputes with a strategic and results-oriented approach, combining procedural precision with a deep understanding of the legal, economic, and factual context of each dispute. He regularly advises clients in disputes arising in particular from contractual relationships, employment terminations, and claims for damages. He is also involved in insolvency and restructuring proceedings, where he assists clients with the enforcement and defense of claims, liability issues, and the protection of their legal and economic interests in financially distressed situations.
A distinctive feature of his work is a strong interest in legal doctrine and theory, which he actively integrates into his litigation practice. Filip places particular emphasis on bridging in-depth theoretical knowledge with practical dispute strategy, ensuring that legal arguments are not only doctrinally sound but also effective in real-world contentious proceedings.
Filip’s legal practice is supported by a strong academic background. He studied law at Comenius University in Bratislava and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg in Germany, and he is currently pursuing a PhD (external programme) at the University of Trnava. This academic engagement further strengthens the doctrinal foundation of his litigation practice. He regularly contributes to Slovak legal scholarship, focusing on property law, real estate disputes, and construction law.
