David Niculae

Legal assistant advising international and domestic clients on employment, cross-border workforce mobility and dispute resolution, with a background in international and economic law. David advises multinational corporations, domestic businesses and foreign firms on employment law, cross-border workforce mobility and dispute resolution. His practice covers the posting of workers within the European Union, immigration and residence procedures, remote work arrangements and the employment, tax and social security exposure they create, disciplinary and termination matters, enforcement proceedings and insolvency. He prepares client memoranda and advice, and works regularly with counsel in other jurisdictions on matters with a Romanian element.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and Government with a Law minor from Sciences Po Paris and pursues a master’s degree in Economic Law from Sciences Po, delivered jointly with Columbia Law School and Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. His academic work focuses on legal theory and philosophy, seeking to understand the very foundation of legal thought, while exploring areas from constitutional, criminal, immigration, and international law.
