Expert event: NIS2 / UKSC and management board liability

Expert event: NIS2 / UKSC and management board liability

June 1, 2026
1 minutes

Cybersecurity is no longer solely the domain of IT departments. With the implementation of the NIS2 Directive and the amendment to the National Cybersecurity System Act (UKSC), management board members are taking on new responsibilities, particularly in the areas of cyber risk management and oversight of appropriate security measures.

What do these new regulations mean in practice for executive teams? What steps should management boards take to meet legal requirements and mitigate liability risks? How can organizations prepare for these new responsibilities?

These questions will be at the core of the expert event “NIS2 / UKSC and management board liability,” organized in cooperation with the Scandinavian-Polish Chamber of Commerce.

During the event, participants will gain practical insights and recommendations from experts specializing in cybersecurity, risk management, and the legal aspects of implementing new regulations.

Agenda:

  • Session I: Cyber threat landscape – Bartosz Pastuszka, NaviRisk
  • Session II: Legal perspective – Aneta Kiser, Marcin Kroll, Rafał Wieczerzak, LYNX (Poland)
