Andrzej Preiss advises clients across the full spectrum of major infrastructure projects, from on-land developments to complex offshore installations. His practice encompasses port investments, EU-financed projects, railway supervision, and waste incineration facilities. He guides institutional engineers through FIDIC-based contracts and provides strategic support during construction of critical assets like LNG port breakwaters. Clients benefit from his deep understanding of both technical project requirements and the legal frameworks governing them. Fluency in Polish and English enables seamless coordination with international stakeholders and counterparties.
A decade serving as judge and court president gives Andrzej rare insight into how tribunals approach complex disputes. This judicial foundation now strengthens his advocacy in litigation, mediation, and arbitration proceedings. He notably represented the captain of the ferry M/F Heweliusz before the Maritime Chambers in proceedings concerning a maritime disaster. Beyond legal practice, he has served on supervisory boards of significant enterprises. Since 2009, he has chaired the Supervisory Board of STBS Szczecin, the city’s largest municipal company. This governance experience adds commercial perspective to every client engagement, bridging legal counsel with practical business oversight.
