We are pleased to announce another successful investment by our Client. DB Schenker, a German international logistics company, opened a new transshipment terminal in Szczecin at the end of 2022. This facility uses modern technologies and is eco-friendly in its entirety. The terminal covers an area of approximately 620 sqm and operates 45 docks. The investment is worth tens of millions of zlotys and constitutes an element of DB Schenker’s continuous terminal network optimisation programme.
We are very pleased that our law firm was able to be part of this project. BSJP provided comprehensive legal services to DB Schenker. We carried out due diligence and ensured that possible risks associated with the land acquisition were properly identified and eliminated. Furthermore, we drew up transaction-related documents, including preliminary, conditional and sale agreements relating to the real property, as well as construction works agreements for erecting the terminal together with the necessary associated infrastructure. In addition, we provided support to our Client in negotiating all agreements with the land owner and the general contractor of the construction works.
Jarosław Sroka (Partner), who was the team leader, as well as Agnieszka Pokora (Senior Associate) and Andrzej Malinowski (Associate), tax advisor, were actively involved in this project.
