About

Katarzyna guides leading domestic and international financial institutions through complex financing and refinancing transactions. Her practice spans commercial real estate – office buildings, logistics parks, and retail centers – as well as energy and infrastructure project finance. Clients benefit from her structured approach to security packages and her ability to coordinate multinational stakeholders across Poland, Germany, and beyond. Fluency in Polish, German, and English removes friction when negotiating with counterparties or liaising with international financial institutions like EBRD and EIB.

Her career includes advising developers and real estate funds on acquisition and disposal transactions, conducting thorough due diligence, and structuring deals that withstand regulatory scrutiny. A Ph.D. and M.A. from Warsaw University, combined with studies at the University of Constance and the Europainstitut of Saarland University, give her deep academic grounding in cross-border legal frameworks. She has authored numerous publications on restructuring, insolvency, and investment control in collaboration with the FOWI Institute. Clients gain an advisor who pairs scholarly rigor with hands-on deal execution, translating complex regulatory requirements into actionable strategies that protect their investments.
